How to Make a Perfect Bechamel Sauce

The first question I hear some of you asking is, “Why would I want to make a bechamel sauce, perfect or otherwise?’

Fair question.  If you have been cooking all your life and never thought about bechamel, let me suggest that you have made it, or something based on it, many times.  It is a white sauce, seasoned a specific way, and it is the basis of many other wonderful dishes.

Try it.  You’ll like it.
