Organic Gardening: Harvesting and Curing Inchelium Red Garlic

Garlic is a great thing to grow in your backyard garden.  It takes up little space, needs almost no attention, stores well, and saves you lots of money.  Garlic is very expensive in the grocery store, and you have very little control over the variety you buy.

We chose to grow Inchelium Red garlic, partly because it is a heritage variety that was almost extinct, and because it is reported to have a superior taste and storage ability.

I hope you enjoy watching our small harvest.
