French Vidalia Onion Soup

French onion soup is a comfort food, but when Vidalias are in season, it kicks it up to a whole other level.   The sweetness of the Vidalia onions means no wine is needed, but you can add it if you like.

Finding a French onion soup with no alcohol can be difficult, and cooking without alcohol is important to many people. This recipe depends on the flavor of the onions, not wine, and succeeds in giving you a tasty and wonderful soup.  Give it a try.
